Tree Debris Removal in Miami-Dade County
After a tree removal, a big trimming job, or a storm, you are left with a yard full of limbs, trunk sections, fronds and brush that regular trash pickup will not take. Grove Tree Service hauls it away. We have been clearing debris from Miami-Dade properties since 1981, and we work across Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, South Miami, Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay, Cutler Bay, Kendall and the rest of the county.
Looking for free wood chips or mulch?
That is a different service, and the answer is yes. We give away fresh arborist mulch to Miami-Dade properties at no charge — request a load here. The page you are on now covers paid debris removal, where we bring a truck and haul material off your property.
What we haul away
- Limbs, branches and brush from trimming and pruning
- Trunk sections and logs after a tree removal
- Palm fronds, coconuts and seed pods
- Stumps and root balls
- Storm-downed trees and scattered wind debris
- Hedge and ficus trimmings from overgrown screening
- Cleared undergrowth and invasive growth — Brazilian pepper, Australian pine, melaleuca
The heaviest storm debris in Miami usually comes from black olives, ficus and Australian pines, which split or uproot, plus live oak limbs and piles of royal and coconut palm fronds. Before we clean up underneath, our crews use bucket trucks and spider lifts to clear hangers, the broken limbs still caught in the canopy, so nobody is working below a loose limb.
When people call us
- After we remove or trim a tree. Cleanup is included in the job — we do not leave a pile behind. Optional stump grinding handles what is left at ground level.
- After a storm. Hurricane season runs June through November and it reliably fills Miami yards with debris. See emergency tree service for urgent situations.
- After someone else’s tree work. A neighbor’s crew, a landscaper who trimmed but did not haul, or a pile that has been sitting since the last storm.
- Before a sale, an inspection, or an HOA deadline. Fast turnaround when there is a date attached.
- Before construction or landscaping. Lot clearing and debris hauling ahead of new work.

What debris removal costs
Three things drive the price: how much material there is, how hard it is to reach, and whether it is part of a larger job. A single load of brush from an accessible front yard is at the low end. A backyard with no side access, where everything has to be carried out by hand, costs more than the same volume sitting on a swale. And if we are already on site doing the tree work, hauling the debris is far cheaper than bringing a truck out for it alone.
Estimates are free and we quote before we start — no hourly surprises. Call 305-858-6307 and we will schedule a quick on-site look so we can see the volume and access before giving you a written price.
Storm cleanup and insurance claims
After a hurricane or tropical storm we prioritize properties where debris is blocking access, resting on a structure, or near a power line. We are available 24 hours a day for genuine emergencies.
For insurance, we provide written assessments and photographic documentation of the damage and the volume removed, and we will coordinate with your adjuster. We cannot file a claim on your behalf, but we can give them everything they need. Planning ahead is cheaper than reacting — see hurricane tree preparation.
